WSQ Business Model Innovation (Level 4) (SF)

Business Model Innovation helps businesses understand the dynamics and working mechanisms that is underlying an effective innovation drive. This course imparts skills and knowledge to work from the organisations basics, backed up with research efforts and insights and leveraging on project management principles to drive the innovation project.

What you will learn:

This course aims for learners to be able to:

 

  • determine and present the value proposition and the current state

  • facilitate and lead comprehensive research efforts on market trends, organisation’s competitive position and other related aspects to derive useful information, trends, insights and other findings to support business decision making and innovation drive

  • facilitate and lead idea generation session to identify areas of innovation and potential innovation projects to be developed and implemented

  • develop and implement the chosen innovation pilot projects in the identified areas of innovation

  • review and evaluate the implementation and/or completion of the innovation pilot project to identify benefits, shortcomings and actionable insights

The total course duration for WSQ Business Model Innovation (Level 4) (SF) is 16 hours, excluding break time.

Entry Requirements

  1. Minimum WSQ Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 5 for Reading, Writing, Listening & Speaking OR

  2. At least GCE ‘N’ Level Pass in English

  3. At least 4 years of relevant work experience, of which at least 2 years are at supervisory / managerial level.
