With the drastic transformations in the retail sector, it is crucial for employees to constantly re-skill to gain deeper knowledge and skills so they may stay relevant and able to keep up with the changes in the growing and developing sector.
People Development describes the ability to identify team leaders’ skill requirements and facilitate their learning opportunities to enhance performance. It also includes coaching of team leaders to help them develop their skills and gain confidence. This course contributes to building a workforce that has the right skillsets, work flexibly and can adapt and cope with the challenges ahead.
What you will learn:
There are 3 learning units for this course which aims to impart critical skills and competencies to learners at managerial or minimum supervisory level to effectively manage learning and development activities to raise the workforce competencies and to maximise their potential and capabilities to contribute to their organisation.

Minimum WSQ Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 5 for Reading, Writing, Listening & Speaking OR
At least GCE ‘N’ Level Pass in English
At least 4 years of relevant work experience, of which at least 2 years are at supervisory/managerial level
